Maine Maritime Academy
Maine Maritime Academy is a public, co-educational college located in the coastal town of Castine, Maine. Ranked the #1 Best Public College on Money magazine’s Best Colleges list in 2014 and 2015, the MMA’s students become world-class mariners and engineers, supply chain managers, logistics professionals, and scientists. They do have athletic programs, however (Go Mariners!), and Legend assisted them in outfitting their Kenny and Lynn Brown Varsity Weight Room. Two connected and repurposed racquetball courts combine with an adjoining 16×20 room to provide Mariners athletes with 1,920 square feet of dedicated indoor training space. Open only to Mariners athletes, the varsity weightroom features 10 Continuum Rig racks along with in-floor platforms, Three-Way Benches, and all of the expected accessories.
