College of Wooster
The renovation of Swigart Strength Center and the addition of the new equipment from Legend Fitness has had a dramatically positive impact on our football program. Not only does the Legend Fitness equipment look great, but we are so impressed with its construction and functionality ... everything about it is SERIOUS. It has enabled our student-athletes to be more productive and efficient.
Head Football Coach Mike Schmitz
Legend participated in the second renovation of College of Wooster’s John M. Swigart Strength Center, creating what has been generally considered by third party sources as one of the most advanced and complete strength training facilities for a school of its size in the US. 4,000 square feet of Everlast Ultra Tile with Legend Fitness icing. Ten Pro Series Half Cages, a sampling of LeverEDGE devices, Seated Lat/Low Rows, Reverse Hypers, Unilateral Leg Presses, Total Hip Combos, a Dip/Chin Assist, a Functional Trainer, a Destroyer, GHDs and several dumbbell/kettlebell storage racks. All Legend items are finished in Sun Gold and Jet Black with black upholstery.
“With the opening of the $30M Scot Center in January, The College of Wooster now has a strength center that is functional, durable and very impressive. After looking at several companies, it became obvious that Legend Fitness was a leader in the market. They were able to provide the exact equipment we needed to fit our space and our budget. Working with Legend enabled us to come up with the best possible solution for our students and athletes. We now have a facility that is dedicated to those looking for significant gains in the overall and sport-specific strength. In addition to multiple traditional and new machines, we purchased 10 half-cages and believe that the ability to perform the majority of free-weight exercises in these spaces is ideal for our needs. By considering all aspects, Legend has created a facility that is appealing to our male and female users, and a showpiece for all of our visitors.”
