Christopher Columbus High School
Christopher Columbus High School is a private, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory high school, conducted by the Marist Brothers in the Westchester neighborhood of Miami Dade County, Florida. The Explorers are the only private school program in Florida that competes at an 8A level. Head football coach Chris Merritt was part of Team USA’s coaching staff for the inaugural International Federation of American Football Junior World Championship in 2009, and won the tournament. Christopher Columbus’ baseball program was ranked the number one baseball team in America during the 2009-2010 year. With such high-caliber production, the Explorers needed a high-caliber strength facility to match. CCHS turned to Legend for a heavily stocked training room boasting some of the latest in exercise technology, including 18 Pro Series Modular Half Cages with Lat/Low Row Modules with Self-Adjusting Benches and Multi Storage Racks, 9 Pro Series GHDs, 9 Reverse Hypers, 5 Unilateral Leg Presses, 9 Plyo Cushion sets and 2 Neck Machines.
All equipment is finished in Platinum Sparkle and Post Office Blue with Regimental Blue upholstery.
