The Legend Fitness Delivery Driver/Installer interacts directly with our customers and assists the company in building strong customer relationships and a positive company image. Taking pride in your work, showing customers your professionalism in working on installs, and representing Legend in the best possible way is especially important in delivering a positive experience.
A Legend Fitness over-the-road Delivery Driver/Installer will be expected to:
- Be on the road Monday through Friday most weeks, including overnight stays. Some weekend work and travel will be required on occasion, dependent on the size of the installation and customer requirements.
- Unload, move, and install heavy strength and fitness equipment, according to customers’ layout plans.
- Have mechanical aptitude.
- Test all installed equipment to ensure proper function.
- Wipe down all installed equipment after installation and testing.
- Clean up the customer space, including the removal of all trash and packaging materials, sweeping floor areas, and ensuring the area is left in a satisfactory condition.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Have strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to achieve goals independently while still meeting deadlines.
- Be able to supervise day labor, as required, on certain projects.
Experience, education, and background desired for this position:
- Over-the-road driving experience (long haul ideal).
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have a valid and clean driver’s license (no endorsements or restrictions). CDL preferred but not required.
- Have a current and valid Drivers Medical Card.
- Technical assembly and installation experience with fitness equipment, or similar products is required.
- Be able to lift up to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment.
- Be able to operate an electric lift gate.
Compensation and benefits offered by Legend Fitness include:
- Hourly Range: $18-$22
- Bi-Weekly Pay
- Overtime eligible for driving and on-the-job hours.
