Octagons Usually Say "Stop", This One Says "Go, Go Go!"
We are pleased as punch to announce the release of the latest and greatest in Legend Fitness platforms. Behold the new 3223 Pro Series Insert Platform. So named because it is designed to be inserted into our 3221 and 3226 Pro Series Cages by extending the wood section of the platform to fill the inner dimensions of the cage area. Built to the demanding standards of Competitive Edge Sports' Robby Stewart, several improvements have been made over the previous model:
A completely new, proprietary finish for the tongue-and-groove oak area of the platform is more resistant to damage, flaking, and discoloration. We consulted with the same folks that take care of the University of Tennessee's basketball court to find the best possible wood treatment that modern technology allows!
The thick rubber mats on either side of the wood platform are precision cut with a water jet to allow us to fit them within the frame more tightly than ever before.
Speaking of the frame, it is built using 3 x 2 inch tubing, not the channel frame stuff that some of our competitors use, because that stuff is more likely to ding when a weight gets dropped on it. We think that's important, because . . . well, that's pretty much what platforms are made for - to have weights dropped on them.
The frame also consists of only three sections, scoring points in both rigidity and ease of installation. There's basically a left half, a right half, and the front ramp with a flange which completely covers and secures the seam where the two halves meet.
New octagonal shape reduces joint stress on uneven surfaces (plus, it's just really cool looking!).
The platform is still available with the customer's choice of logo for a nominal fee, and is still fully compliant with the Pro Series bench docking system.
